What is Type 1 Diabetes and its symptoms?

type 1 diabetes, is a form of diabetes mellitus in which not enough insulin is produced. This results in high blood sugar levels in the body. Type 1 diabetes occurs in children and young adults, but it can appear at any age.

Type 1 diabetes was previously called insulin-structured diabetes mellitus (IDDM) or adolescent-born diabetes mellitus. In Type 1 diabetes, pancreatia passes through an autonomies attack through the body and is unable to produce insulin. In most patients with type of diabetes, unusual antibodies have been prescribed. Antibodies are proteins in the blood, which are part of the body’s immune system. The person affected with type 1 diabetes should have insulin medicines to survive.

In auto-immune diseases, the immune system produces antibodies and inflammation cells, which target the body’s tissue damage. In humans with type 1 diabetes, beta cells of pancreatia, which are responsible for the production of insulin, are attacked by a poorly targeted immune system. It is believed that the tendency to produce foreign antibodies in type of diabetes is inherited in genetically, although fine print is not fully understood. Exposure to safe viral infections (Mumps and Coxski virus) or other environmental toxins can also be useful. To trigger weird antibody reactions that damage the pancreatic cells where insulin is produced. Some antibodies considered in type 1 diabetes include anti-islet cell antibodies, anti-insulin antibodies and anti-glutamic decaroxylace antibodies. In most patients, these antibodies can be detected and can also help in determining which men and women are at risk of developing types 1 diabete.
